You know,a sento is a traditional Japanese public bathhouse. We hoped to blend that wonderful part of Japanese culture with our everyday lives,so we spent many years planning—and last year, we finally opened a sento where dogs and their owners can enjoy the experience together.This may be something you’ve never seen before, and we believe you’ll find it both unique and fascinating. How to Use Our Dog-Friendly Sento
- Check-In at Reception
Upon arrival, please inform the staff that you will be using the sento together with your dog.
We may ask to see your dog’s vaccination certificate and conduct a brief health check if necessary. - Prepare Your Dog
For safety inside the sento, please have your dog wear a leash or harness at all times.
We also recommend trimming nails and cleaning your dog’s paws before entering. - Entering the Bath Area
Please follow the staff’s guidance as you enter the bathing area with your dog.
We provide treats to help you keep your dog’s attention during your visit. - During Bathing
Before entering the bath, gently rinse your dog with the shower provided.
Keep your dog securely on a leash and be mindful not to disturb other guests. - After Bathing Care
After bathing, thoroughly dry your dog with a towel to keep them warm.
A drying area with a hairdryer is available if you need. - Upon Leaving
After your visit, we may ask you to fill out a short survey or provide feedback.To complement your warm and relaxing soak, we’ve prepared soothing herbal tea and refreshing lemon water for you to enjoy.
Please take any trash with you and help us maintain a clean environment.

Q1.Can all dog breeds use the facility?
A.Yes, all kinds of dogs are very welcome. However, we may decline access if a dog displays aggressive behavior.
Q2.Are vaccinations required?
A.Yes. Proof of rabies and combination vaccinations is required. We appreciate to your cooperation.
Q3.Can I use the bath without a dog?
A.We’re sorry, but our facility is exclusively for guests accompanied by dogs.
Q4.Are amenities such as security lockers and towels available?
A.Yes, basic amenities such as security lockers, towels, and hair dryers are available. Additional towels can also be rented for an additional fee.While soap is provided in the bathing area, we also offer additive-free soap specially made for dogs and aromatic soaps for humans.
